Theories and Mystery Solutions(Part 1)

To All The Fans

Mystery Number 1: What's it like inside a Pokeball?

We all know that Pokemon shrink to fit inside the Pokeball. Then they just come out again for battle. Well, That's completely logical. The thing is, how's it like? Is it like an imaginary dream world where the Pokemon sleeps and jumps around? Is it just a boring sphere where Pokemon sit or stand in, until they are called out for battle?

Theory:

I think it might be the boring sphere.

Evidence:

In most of the series', Ash explains to his fellow friends and strangers that Pikachu is always outside it's Pokeball, because it doesn't like staying in it. That could be a piece of evidence relating to the fact that the Pokeball is just a boring sphere where the Pokemon walk around. Another piece of evidence is that Pikachu likes eating a lot(judging by it's appearance in the old series). So, there probably isn't any food there either. So, Pikachu might also have not liked staying inside the Pokeball without any food. However, this doesn't completely have much logic. Also, remember Team Rocket? Well, the two Pokemon they always have are Wobbuffet and Meowth. Note that in almost every episode in every series, Wobbuffet pops out of the Pokeball out of the blue. This can support the fact that it does not like staying in there either, maybe because of hunger or boredom. Judging by the fact that Wobbuffet is never there when Team Rocket are eating, it's most likely just hunger. It still doesn't look like it's hungry, so it's probably boredom.

Mystery Number 2: Why can't you catch starters in the wild?

True. We can't catch starters in the grass, water, or anywhere else for that matter. But why? Why can you only choose ONE and only when the Professors GIVE it to you? Well, that's one mystery that's going to take a long time to resolve.

Theory:

The professors have all the starters with them, not a single one left out. They each keep probably around 100 of each starter from every region.

Evidence:

In all the series', we notice that the Professor has a REALLY big lab. We also know that the Professor studies Pokemon very closely. Also, we remember from the few episodes relating to the Pokemon Summer Camp, Tierno and his friends, Shauna and Trevor, got their starters from Professor Sycamore in XY, even though Squirtle, Charmander and Bulbasaur are from the Johto and Kanto series and the Red, Blue and Yellow versions. This can support the fact that the Professors have a REALLY big storage room with 100 or so of each and every single starter from every single region. Also, see the picture above? You can notice the little boxes lying around everywhere. There might be a 50% chance there are Pokeballs with the starters in them. Also, note the fact that the Professors have a full Pokedex(except the old ones). This can support the fact that they probably saw Ho-oh before, having the wish of, you guessed it, removing all starters from the wild and giving it to them.
